And people here wonder why a very large contingent of us are SICK TO DEATH of Third Way so-called "Democrats"?????

I have been a Democrat my entire life. Well after this election, no more. Independent / decline to state. Fuck 'em. They've certainly been fucking us for a good long while now.

And BTW: I am a member of the professional class, had a 30+ year career in well paid positions. But I was raised in a blue collar family, and they will never, ever take the blue collar roots from this gal. Our party has sold out to corporate interests. I have worked for a number of corporations, I know how they operate, and: FUCK 'EM.

Also BTW: it is also quite evident at this time, that neither party has a credible plan for battling climate change. Short of a huge global effort, right now, we are well and truly fucked. And it may be too late anyway, even if we are somehow able to devise a way to reverse the effects -- it may already be too late. So in the larger scheme of things the issues, whether social or economic, that we all hold so dear, will probably be moot in the very near future. So most of my energies will be spent in that arena going forward.
