choice of the sane GOP, specifically, the big money big military that supported the Bushes and Reagan.

One will see a bias in the election process in favor of Hillary Clinton like observed in the 2000 election, the 2004 election, and the 2016 Democratic primaries.

If a miracle occurs, Bernie Sanders will readily beat Trump.

However, if something occurs that stops Clinton within the Democratic party I would expect the DNC and Democratic party leadership to try and probably succeed in nominating someone other than Sanders.

I am not convinced Trump actually wants to be POTUS. Trump may well be simply a stalking horse for Hillary Clinton.
