5. it's not really indecisiveness. it's narcissism/sociopathy.

he's decided he wants to be president.
he's decided he'll say whatever he needs to say to make that happen.

it's not that he hasn't decided what to say about any particular policy, as if it's a tough choice.
it's just that he doesn't particularly care about that.

if he has to cut taxes to become president, he'll say that and do that.
if he has to raise taxes to become president, he'll say that and do that.
if he has to say one thing and do the other, he'll do that if that makes him president.

in his world, boasting and gloating and insulting other people are all that matter.
