Because there is never a good reason to intentionally subject yourself to fear, knowing that to do so will immediately lower your ability to think properly about anything, with the possible exception of adrenaline training for those who live in high danger areas (and while mine is certainly not 'safe', it's not 'high danger' imo either...local cops thoughts be darned).
