However, when running for elected officer in America, it's hardly outlandish to suggest that disparaging America and gratuitously insulting wide swaths of your fellow citizenry might not be the best electoral strategy, no less on a national level. If the most basic electoral common sense eludes you or you somehow view this simple reality as "shutting you up," well, I don't fucking know what to tell you.

Whether you like it or not, liberal policies, particularly those that support marginalized groups you claim to speak for and support, will not be implemented and supported if Democrats lose elections, to say nothing of the presidency.
