A Democratic President signed DOMA and a Democratic candidate for President supporte DOMA and "traditional" marriage until after a Republican majority SCOTUS declared it unconstitutional.

Plenty of shame to go around in both of our largest political parties. Direct it at those who do the most harm with their laws and prisons, not DUers.
