At least in our nation.

Of course, also note that a lot of Americans may poll Hispanic or "white" because of European or native heritage, depending on the issue, thus raising or lowering the "white" percentage. Our Danish DIL's Danish-Spanish mother, whose family moved from Spain to South America nearly century ago, identifies as European.
