Senator Franken could handle Trump.

One of the more ironic things is that he wrote a satirical novel, "Why Not Me?," out in 1999, which he peopled with real political figures but which "slandered" himself as an accidental president with very serious emotional and mental problems--almost prescient considering Trump's current, but then completely unthinkable, proximity to the Oval Office.

How truly bizarre it must be for Franken to now find himself 17 years later one of the political figures surrounding an improbable nut case in this new real-life satire on American elections. It'd be better if he were a major character, though, instead of an outlier making a minor appearance here and there.
