1. I keep wondering about all the other children who did NOT fall/climb in and how did that NOT happen?

The Police may be considering possible negligent child care, or reckless endangerment by failure of the surrounding fences. Until they show all the captured videos, security camera footage and still photos, who knows? Was no one else at the gorilla enclosure at the same time? What do the witnesses have to say?

Long ago I worked in daycare and I know how quickly a child that age and size can move from safety to danger when not closely monitored. I don't assume the Mom is negligently at fault but you have to wonder what else had her attention at that point, appeals to Jesus notwithstanding.
