I'm dumbfounded. I grew up in a rural town with plenty of rednecks. I know these people, enough of them well enough anyway. I know what conservative means, I know what grades they got in school. I also know how prejudiced they are, hateful of things far away they don't know squat about and intolerant of things that don't conform to their narrow customs. Then along comes a blowhard egomaniac wearing an orange cake face and a combover weave, and they go all gaga. Did they start watching the hypnotist channel or what? I don't get it. Why is the "Christian values party" turning into the Fourth Reich with an orange cake face?
So, I'm asking for truly rational explanations, if you get my drift ... please help us dumbfounded ones understand how the Republicans fell down this rabbit hole.[center]
