(1,389 posts)HRC camp has wanted BS to drop out since that day, which was roughly the 2nd quarter of a football game.
Take away the superdelagates and she leads by about 270 delegates -- hardly a blowout.
She has won just 6 more contests than he has. He will probably win California.
Sanders has acted no differently than Hillary did during the 2008 primaries.
#1 reason for backing HRC : "she has the best chance of winning in November."
Congratulations, if you backed the winner ! Cease the face slapping, commence with the backslapping.
Elections have consequences. If she wins the general election (which I pray to God she does)
then how do we expect her to change and IMPROVE upon the present conditions ?
Minimum wage increase ?
Workers rights and Labor unions ?
Immigration policy ?
Health care -- specifically protection and expansion of "Obamacare" ?
Protecting the solvency of SS and Medicare.
Military intervention in the Mideast and Iran ?
Legalization of marijuana / change in drug laws / incarceration rates of minorities (a.k.a. the super predators) ?
Tougher banking regulations / consumer protections ?
Sanders better represents "this democrat's" will regarding the issues...
and that is not the equivalent to a slap at Hillary. Difference of opinion.
She's going to win by a field goal... and with a little help from the zebras.
