He explained that this was because information was far more likely to be diffused through weaker ties. He concluded that weak ties are indispensable to individuals opportunities and to their incorporation into communities while strong ties breed local cohesion."

This is a social network. The knee-jerk thinking seems to be that someone or some group can pick on things that hurt their feelings and cast them out, and life will be bubbles and champagne.
Perhaps. On the other hand, weak ties might be more important than you know. If the election doesn't go as planned, or if other races turn sour, people might well look at some of this (both here and other places) and make the case that such behavior depressed turnout, rather than facilitating it. That wouldn't reflect well on any site, or organization. Well, except for the real estate swindler, but he has such a low bar no one expects anything from him.
I put the article up because I don't much like two-faced hypocrites that piss on Democratic principles to make themselves millions. Or people that cover up for them. I left out out his part in the conspiracy that foreclosed on 8 million American families and has left more people in poverty and hunger, as well as increasing the numbers of working poor by tens of millions. Those links are available.
I vote for my country, not a party, since I think the latter is great way to lose a nation. Feel free to ban whatever, this isn't the only outlet. I most certainly affect more local votes in the donut shops and libraries than here, so no great loss to me.
The upshot of that article, btw, is that you need our votes and the ones we influence far more that we need your web site. That may be just about to become much more clear, one way or the other. But I bet you won't like it.
