Does he have brothers? IIRC, his niece went by Ali. But a brother could still be a Clay. I thought about that at the time, but certainly did not go there. The woman, my flight attendant's mother, could well have been a sister-in-law. But she was as protective of Ali as a sister would be in a semi-public situation. And I thought she was introduced to me as his sister. Well, I was a bit nervous over the meeting!

BTW: No one else, passing through the hotel's lobby restaurant seemed to recognize Muhammad Ali. In retrospect, I find that odd.
