One of the few we've ever had, and maybe the only political. I've helped her Hillary group organize phone banks, showed them how to canvass, etc., and I'm the Bernie fanatic.
The reason I mention this is because I was pissed that she was still giving money to Clinton. I was being an asshole about it, and ranting about Wall Street. The usual Bernie stuff 
Anyway, I said, "Instead of given by any money directly to political candidates, let's give it to political causes. How about we start with 'Nevadans for Background Checks?" It just strikes me as ironic that we gave fifty bucks to that very tepid gun control cause just yesterday morning.
You're right, Cali: I have to do more, we have to do more. I'm sure as shit not hiding my contempt for those who encourage or enable these horrors, whether it's fundamentalist religious nuts or fundamentalist NRA nuts (or those poor saps suckered by the NRA). Fuck 'em.
I'll also be knocking on as many doors as possible to support the candidate that wants to keep weapons of war off of our streets.
