He is incapable of feeling any empathy. And everything is always about him.

Only a sociopath could rip off hundreds of people and not care one iota
about what he is doing to all those lives. People lost their businesses because they were never paid for the work they did for him. He could have cared less. No empathy and no conscience.

And notice how he never apologises for anything? That's a big clue. And how he just changes his stories if one doesn't fly? He just spins another story and thinks people will believe the new one. That's a sociopath.
