8. It's hard telling what kind of voter the Democratic Party wants nowadays.

They fashion themselves as a pro-human rights party while keeping women, PoC and the LGBTQI community at arm's length (save for times that it matters, which should be ALL the time).

It's no secret that they've been marginalizing the progressive movement since the First Clinton and embracing Third Way betrayals at all cost. Those betrayals have lost us the House, the Senate, governorships and over 900 state seats.

And now that our nominee is pretty much a moderate Republican, we're expected to go along with revisionism, corporate pandering and a narrative that doesn't include Universal Health Care. As a father of a student with a pre-existing condition, I'll never forgive or forget the kind of politics her and the Lieberturds of the world embrace.

It's to the point that I'm not sure what kind of person the DNC expects to embrace their platform, whatever that may be. If they don't differ much economically and only embrace human rights when called out on it, "Trump" and "lucky that the Supreme Court is in play" is only going to go so far.
