I wouldn't totally dismiss it or rule it out, but the comments from 4 people seem more like 'hey, I know that guy,
or at least I think I do'.

said Monday that they believe they had seen Mateen there before.

The other thing that makes me suspicious is that according to their statements, Mateen was a drinker also...

I don't know, nor have I read just how devote a Muslim he was, but his drinking habits just don't jive with his religion.
