My Armenian FB friend informs me that some Armenian-Americans are leaning toward the short-fingered vulgarian because they've somehow gotten the idea that he's going to recognize it (the Turks have kept most of the world from doing so, which is why it was a very big deal when Germany did so recently).
Here I am in California, where ballots are provided in Armenian in some counties, and my only Armenian FB friend is outside Richmond, VA. Go figure.
