Bill Nemitz: Assault rifle owners have some growing up to do

1. I loved Combat. Yep, most assault rifle owners have similarities.

Most have fears that they feel they can't control. Those fears are usually based in their poor education. Most all of them did poorly in school and are afraid that it will come back to haunt them. That leads them to feel they need to have some type of power over people to compensate for that poor education. That assault rifle gives them that feeling.

But the thing about the weapons used in Combat and today's assault rifles is that an M1 is actually not a bad hunting rifle.
