1. Fracking is insane.

We are permanently polluting vast quantities of fresh water when we need it most. The chemical stew of fracking liquids renders water so polluted, it can only be dealt with by injection wells. These can in turn, pollute existing aquifers and there is increasing evidence of these pumped wastes causing earthquakes.
