2. I think those favoring the weapon bans

Should hope the Supreme Court stays far far away from this.

Based on the precedent of Miller the court is going to find either a) the bans are not enforceable because such weapons have a militia function or b) if the ban is enforceable then the NFA is overly broad and too restrictive on militia weapons.
