(54,770 posts)43. Fine, Trudeau is free to change environmental laws, although it's really not needed
now. That will work, whereas telling American companies they can't do something that Canadian companies can do is a blatant violation of hundreds of trade agreements, that the USA is not even part of.
If you don't want to abide by a trade agreement, rescind it rather than begging to be part of more and bigger agreements.
