Imagine, adopting the position of more than three-quarters of the citizenry. It's a naked grab for votes, particularly from the hapless Republicans who must be in favor of more carnage, bloodshed, mayhem, and murder if they want that sweet, sweet NRA money to keep lining their campaign coffers.

It's just so unfair!
