There isn't reason to assume this one will be different.

There are more Democrats than Republicans. That point is well known to anyone with any familiarity with party identification in recent years.

That said, tit is far too early for polls to be meaningful. In all likelihood they will tighten by November. That is what has happened in every election in the past couple of decades.
