After the North Fork Fire in March (four miles from my home in Colorado), a poster on the local website here said, "Why should my taxes be raised to replace a home that's been destroyed?" There's no such thing as the common good with these people. And nobody mentioned raising taxes anyway. It's the first thing they think about, these something for nothing people. For eye-opening teabaggery, please visit www.pinecam.com and go to Forums, The Study. I'm surrounded.
