In reply to the discussion: The people asking for a second referendum on an online petition lost & should get over it [View all]libdem4life
(13,877 posts)14. Ya got me. I'm just using common sense while listening and
reading folks much closer to the situation and smarter than I. Been reading lots of sources for the past two days. The political players don't know what to do. That's what's pathetic. George Soros just made a gargantuam sum of money. The Market tanked. Spain is nipping at Gibralter again, Ireland wants to unite and secede, Scotland is .... do your own research.
Also be good to check out what's happening on the continent, too. All kinds of uncertainty.
And when that happens, it's not the 1%ers who gets hurt. But I'm sure you already know that. Ever heard of Deflation? Be good to look it up.
Just do some reading...I don't have the time or desire to "educate" anyone.

OP
Then all those who voted to leave deserve to be crushed economically since they begged for it.

Yes, the sky is falling. That's the proper official approved reaction. I understand that.

Exantly. Just wild-eyed "sky is falling" nonsense none of which makes any sense (or difference.)

It's not just the media. Economists are saying this. I read that in a few places too.

As I understand politics in the UK, this is how people commonly tell their reps they want

I assume the OP believes CA should have retained Prop 8 because they voted for it once....

Fun fact, the petition was put up before the vote by a right-wing "Leave" supporter
