Reminds me of a documentary I saw about the Boxing Day Tsunami that was mostly compiled from home video footage. One scene was a tourist's camera watching the locals all run like mad away from the beach while the tourists all stayed put (in fairness most of the Thais were desperately trying to drag whatever foreigners they could to higher ground with them). The American bro recording it just kind of comments, "Huh... it looks like the locals are all running away from the beach. That's interesting".
