I've been thinking for a while that the far right and the doctrinaire left, both here and in the UK, should unite to form a new party called simply the "Stick It to the Man" party. Because, honestly, that seems to be the main objective on both sides, with little regard for what happens when the Man gets stuck, nor for the complexity of government and policies in the 21st century. The mid 19th century had its Know Nothing party, so why not the Stick It to the Man party now?
