16. You know, I saw people here talking ill of her during her last run for governor.

No, I'm not kidding, it stood out to me because of my Texas roots and how much better she was than the other choice. She's hands down, leaps and bounds to the left of Greg Abbot, the person who ran against her and won.

Stuff like that makes zero sense to me on a board for Democrats. Yeah, she's more middle of the road than most Progressives would like, that's what it takes to bring a red state back into the fold, though. Truth is, she's way more liberal than the person who beat her. She would have been a huge step in the proper direction if she'd have won.

We need to wise up and learn there's a world outside our own private bubbles. Myself included. Sometimes it's alright to give your time and money to a candidate that isn't 100% inline with your views if they're more like you than the alternative. Actually, is more than alright, it's necessary!
