If one is a real-estate magnate worth about $10 billion, operating internationally, and the candidate of a major political party to become the next President of the United States... If one marries trophy-wives and hosts international beauty-pageants... If someone has contacts to saudi-arabian royalty... Does that make that person part of the "global elite"?
