that's something you'll never forget. My mom only got violent with me once (I took care of her for 10 1/2 yrs), she tried to bash me with her cane. I tried to stop her by shutting my bedroom door. She finally gave up before too much damage was done. She lived in the 1930's thru the 70's in her mind.

Yes, painful for sure, for everyone. I can't imagine what goes on in the mind of an Alzheimer's victim. It has to be a nightmare.

We survived!
