129. I feel similarly ** BUT ** these guys would have had guns anyway,

regardless of gun control laws. Because they planned this, and they would have gotten the guns illegally in this case.

I support increased regulations on gun ownership to prevent many of the other tragedies that occur. But if you have what has played out over the last couple days, combined with the long history and especially the growing visibility due to expanded access to video capture and distribution - then no gun control short of draconian prohibition and confiscation would stop THIS kind of event. And gun control proponents should not take the position that it could, because it is so obviously false that it undercuts all of the good arguments for improving the other situations.
