8. I wouldn't leave the diversity of this country. I enjoy it too much. For comparison...

If you took two random individuals from Italy, there is only about a 5 - 10% chance that they would be ethnically different.
In the US there is about a 50% chance that any two random persons are ethnically different.

In the US there is about a 25% chance that any two random individuals are culturally different.
In Italy, on a 5% chance that two random people are culturally different.

I truly do understand how some would be uncomfortable with this, and how it might be a challenge, but I, personally, love it. And living in the bay area, I suspect those US probability numbers are a bit higher than the national average.
