Most of the people going up to him aren't 'news' videographers at all, just people who want to 'capture the moment' for their twitter feeds and are simply too dumb to know that they are putting themselves in extreme danger. The video itself is 7 1/2 minutes too long in and of itself - the interesting part was at the very beginning - the camera person just kept rolling and following the guy in the hopes that something would happen.

Stupid. He was scared and backed away, no need to continue to approach him unless you are are actually hoping for something awful to happen.
