(2,169 posts)75. Doesn't anyone watch VEEP on HBO?

Funniest episode of the season.
HBOs Veep Breaks a Huge Language Taboo, Using the C Word For Real
Tonights episode of Veep is officially called Cgate. Apparently the word is used quite liberally in the episode.
Outside of the N word, I cant think of anything other than the C word which is completely verboten everywhere. Even the f- word finds its way into some mainstream things, and shit so do some others.
But HBO and JDL are going for it. Ill watch at 10:30 and well see how they do this. Veep is the best comedy on TV outside of Fox and Friends. And the latter is unintentionally a hoot...

I bet they get a lot of traffic today if Bernie endorses Hillary as expected

I think some people like to argue. A lot. Even with people who clearly are not listening. nt

Didn't put much stock in those claims at first, but seeing this site the past couple weeks...

For some, it was never about Hillary or Bernie, or even about politics in general n/t

Agreed, most evidenced by those who are now attacking Senator Sanders on JPR

Agreed about JPR. Some very good posters. Disagree that DU is overrun by racist right-wing trolls

You didn't get the memo? We have to agree 100% with every post made over there, for some reason.

I like JPR. There are some really good people there, and some good discussion.
