Trump postponing VP rollout after France attack - could he rethink his VP pick? [View all]

Reports state that Trump preferred Newt or Christie for his VP, but his family and staff wanted Pence. Now that Trump has postponed his VP rollout of Pence tomorrow, could he still pick a different VP? How locked down does Pence have this? Pence has to file tonight or tomorrow if he wants to rerun as Governor. Could Trump pull the rug out from Pence, leaving him without VP and without his governor job?
