who had dozens of his agents and operatives on the ground there before, during, and after the attack.
No WH would let the CIA take that kind of hit with so many of their ops on the ground and scrambling to cover every exposed base. Republicans in Congress knew that the real documents would take a decade or two to surface, if ever. They disgustingly took political advantage by convincing the stupiderati that it was all State Dept's fault. They knew the truth within weeks and proceeded to lie to the country and, especially, to their voters who they view as useful idiots willing to swallow whatever crap they cook up for them.
The corporate media let GOP get away with controlling the narrative pushed onto the public and they still are.
