...one of the immediate responses was Hillary Clinton making a straight-arm gesture.

So yes, other people have done it, but...coming at the end of her speech, this one resonated. Ingraham, in many ways, has always wanted to be Ann Coulter, but she couldn't, because Coulter got there first.
