(1,638 posts)I can't think of a reason why someone would be so focused on arguing that the radical fundamentalist interpretation is the correct interpretation unless they were either radical fundamentalists themselves or trying to denigrate Muslims in general. The latter seems to be especially the case since most of the evidence provided seems to come from truncated quotes taken out of context that they find on anti-Muslim hate sites.
The radical fundamentalist interpretation is one that is often considered wrong by experts in the subject (such as Islamic history professors). People are ignoring the experts and relying on hate sites, using misinformation, and doing all this to argue that people like ISIS are correct. The motivations seem to clearly be fearmongering and bigotry.
