Add to that another $90 million to Old Towne Media for placement of TV and radio ads, yet grass roots organizing was woefully underfunded to the extent that campaign workers in NY were begging for assistance in registering voters and the CA state director quite because there was so little attention to voter turnout.

One thing is certain. He lost by a sizable margin. It turns out relying on corporate media to organize a revolution just isn't a winning strategy. It turns out voters respond more favorably to personal contact in the days leading up to the election, which is why winning campaigns place so much emphasis on Get the Vote Out activities.
