The GOP will survive losing an election. They will utterly be annihilated and split into tiny warring factions is the nominee is summarily replaced. They probably wouldn't be credible on the national level for a couple election cycles.

Nobody in the GOP is naive enough to not know this. If Trump costs them the election, he costs them the election. Life goes on.
