Do you really think it is a good idea to abuse a person in prison, then have them move in next to you?
No one at DU was a participant in the alleged incident against Dylan Roof. It's an ALLEGED incident so none of us know if it even really happened. Let's not put the cart before the horse. The alleged assailant has a right to a fair trial in front of a jury of his peers. Let's not just assume that he's guilty and this happened until we have a conviction.
On that same note - There is an alleged attack against George Zimmerman. Until his alleged assailant is arrested, tried, and convicted of assault it hasn't really happened. No one should be reasonably upset until ALL of the facts of the case are presented. We know nothing at this time - we just have a police report.
I learned this from some noble and wise DU'ers during the Zimmerman trial. They set me "straight" and now they have to live with the consequences.

I'd pull it myself, and no I would never feel bad. My duty if called to action. I'd do my duty.

It is wrong. But some folks only care if it is wrong when dealing with certain inmates.

I don't care about showing him he was wrong. He already knew it when he did it. Did it anyway.

When someone does what Zim or Roof did, it's waaay past "showing them where they were wrong."

I agree with you. I've seen some heartfelt and sincere pleas for us to be "better than that".

Bad people have the right to the protection of the law too. That's important.

I don't disagree, and I really don't think anyone on this thread does either.
