4. The reverse of something I saw in SC in the 60s

A barbeque joint was forced by court action to serve black patrons. The bastard put a sign on the front door that said: "N******s, the court says I have to serve you, but every dollar you spend will be donated to the KKK."
The sign came down a month or so later, reportedly because he was seeing a decline in business from his white customers.

One of the signs was used a few years ago at the SC State Museum in a display about the civil rights movement in SC. There were two letters to the editor complaining about the racist word on the sign, but the museum said they did not think it wise to cover up how badly some of their fellow citizens behaved during that time.
