39. I saw that....he ended up calling it hypomania. my mother was bipolar, and from what I observed,

researched, if he was bipolar, he would have crashed into a depressive state long ago. nobody can maintain a manic state that long. anybody else here live with this? as awful as the manic phases are, the downs, with my mom as an example, can be SO profound that only extreme measures will work to bring back some measure of balance. she had ECT three times over a 25 year span, and it was the ONLY thing that brought her back from severe catatonic depression.
