I am very familiar with gymnastics as my daughter competed USAG for 12 years. To be a good woman gymnast or even a Olympian gymnast there are specific body attributes that are necessary to make it to the top. The person will have to be very short, light weight and very flexible and strong. Male trans would very unlikely have those attributes compared to the female counter parts as well as women gymnast peek in their teens and males have much longer careers where they peak in their mid to late 20s. I think gymnastics will always stay a segregated sport due to the physicality of men and women are so different.
