I think he sometimes forgets that not everyone is tuned into his thought processes. But he really is a very smart, sweet, friendly and down to earth and surprisingly shy guy. I don't think most people realize how hard he has to push himself to be in such a public position, but I've heard him talk about that struggle. Perhaps sometimes he pushes a little bit too hard.

And I agree that his letter to Ivanka really nails the problem.
