My brother is a retired professor of law - brilliant in his field - has written several law books - plays chess online and with a chess club - has other interesting hobbies - photography and gardening.
However 
he read Ann Rand in the seventies (as did I) but he was persuaded that it made sense; we both grew up in a liberal Democratic home, but now his political views are OFF THE WALL. We try not to even converse or mention politics, but I get a few email's now and then from him that I'm sure come from some far-right source; he thought Obama was a complete fraud. Last week I got an article from him which indicated he does not believe in global warming. Despises Hillary. I can't believe he would vote for Trump, but probably will go libertarian. Living in a southern state for 35 years as also made him racially intolerant. I've also heard intolerant comments about Italians from him. WHY WHY WHY?????? He's my brother -- and we have a lot in common - same crazy sense of humor - I love my sister-in-law- I don't know what she thinks other than being anti-Democrat. Their daughter is a loyal Democrat - very liberal! I just can't figure out what happened to my sibling.
