Perhaps it's wishful thinking, but the key here is that Trump has to drive the vehicle that would run down Hillary. Her team includes the Obamas and the Bidens. Some key Senators and Congressman, too.

Trump may be maleable, but I don't see him delivering on any strategy, either scripted or in the moment. The debates will likely be a disaster for him. I can't see how he shows up.

So Bannon gets to throw a few hundred million dollars around trashing Hillary. Republican women might prove that tack misguided.
