21. Who is making excuses for Lochte?

Did Rio spokesman Mario Andrada have anything to say about Douglas? The Lochte story is bigger than the Douglas one anyway, one that is an actual story, one that actually prompts a spokesman to come out and say whatever bullshit spokespeople are paid to come up with. Nobody but people on twitter care if Douglas puts her hand on her heart.

Nobody will remember Douglas not putting her hand on her heart, and Lochte will continue to be a joke for years, as he already has been for years. People have been calling him stupid for basically as long as we've known his name. He will now always be the guy that made up a story to get out of being a drunk dumbass with his friends at the Olympics. He will be the only one of the bunch remembered too, as the other guys will be forgotten. Nobody can probably even name them off the top of their heads today.
