They do not put the economic disaster of 2008 into an overall context.

It was the failure of our Party to define the severity or the longevity of the crisis that we were facing and we left it open for the Republicans to define. And that is exactly what they will do.

In reality, we are much better off than we were in September and the last 3 months of 2008. But, since we survived it, it must not have been so bad?
